Here we go again! On Monday 24th April, The Real Junk Food Project Manchester is taking over Koffee Pot on Oldham Street for another awesome “waste food” pay-as-you-feel restaurant pop-up. We’ll be serving up an amazing menu full of inspired dishes made entirely from perfectly edible food that would otherwise have gone to waste. Book your ticket on Eventbrite.
Over 15 million tonnes of food goes to waste every year in the UK alone, and a vast majority of that food is perfectly edible. Don’t believe us… the proof is in the pudding (and the main course!). Reserve your seat on Eventbrite and join us for a waste food feast. It’s free to reserve a place, and all meals will be served on a pay-as-you-feel basis on the night.
– One ticket = one seat (so, for example, if you’d like to reserve a table for 4 you need book 4 tickets)
– Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are available at the bar until 11pm, the bar is not pay-as-you-feel (we’re not that daft).
– On the night you can pay-as-you-feel for your meal using either cash, or paypal via the app / website on your phone.
– Places are limited, so if you book a seat(s) and then can’t attend please do let us know or cancel your ticket(s) through Eventbrite.
All funds raised will go directly to support The Real Junk Food Project Manchester in fighting food waste and food poverty. Real Junk Food Manchester is a not for profit community interest company. We source food that would otherwise go to waste, cook it into nutritious meals, and serve them to everyone and anyone on a pay-as-you-feel basis. We work with food businesses to reduce food waste, and help people in food poverty to access enough food and good food. We also campaign to make our food system fairer and more sustainable…. damn we’re nice!
